Meet Nature Photographer
Lynn Sambol
I have had the good fortune to live a second life. After working 35 years in the hospitality industry, I met Eric and we fell deeply in love and got married. I took a leap of faith and left my career, moved across the country and have enjoyed every minute of our new life and becoming a nature photographer. We decided to dedicate our lives to family, photography, conservation, and travel.
Eric and I share our photographs to support environmental causes and the organizations who work to protect wildlife and wildlands. With each wild place that I have had the honor to photograph, I was educated about the perceived competition for resources between nature and man. Through becoming a nature photographer I also learned about the fierce organization, communities and people who work diligently to protect the earth and its wild creatures. We are all connected and linked to each other and to all the species of our planet. My hope is to inspire and encourage social change around how we interact with our wild world.
As a nature photographer, I share my images to strike a chord inside each one of us to fall in love with nature, wild creatures, and each other; to open our wild hearts.
Our relationship is symbiotic and to survive on the planet we must change the way we engage with the world. It is our duty as the custodians of the planet to protect and preserve our wildlife and wildlands.
